Ц арь Соломон ответил матери: – Зачем ты просишь для Адонии шунамитянку Авишаг? Проси уж для него и царство – он ведь мой старший брат – да, для него, для священника Авиатара и для Иоава, сына Саруи!

And King Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag, the Shunammite, for Adonijah? Ask for him the kingdom also, for he is my elder brother and he also has Abiathar, the priest, and Joab, the son of Zeruiah.
