К огда хананеи, обитатели той земли, увидели плач у гумна Атада, они сказали: «У египтян великий плач и горе». Вот почему то место рядом с Иорданом называется Авель-Мицраим.

Now when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning at the threshing floor of Atad, they said, “This is a grievous mourning for the Egyptians.” Therefore it was named Abel-mizraim, which is beyond the Jordan. Burial at Machpelah
