O o markii Saa'uul qabsaday boqortooyada reer binu Israa'iil wuxuu la diriray kulli cadaawayaashiisii dhan kasta ka jiray, kuwaasoo ahaa reer Moo'aab, iyo reer Cammoon, iyo reer Edom, iyo boqorradii reer Soobaah, iyo reer Falastiin; oo meel kasta oo uu u jeestayba si xun buu ugu galay.

When Saul had become king over Israel, he fought against all those around him who hated him. He fought against Moab, the Ammonites, Edom, the kings of Zobah, and the Philistines. He punished them in every way he turned.
