O o boqorkii Yeruusaalem oo Adonii Sedeq ahaa markuu maqlay siduu Yashuuca Aacii u qabsaday, oo uu dhammaanteed u baabbi'iyey, iyo siduu Yerixoo iyo boqorkeediiba ku sameeyey, oo uu haddana sidaas oo kale ku sameeyey Aacii iyo boqorkeediiba, iyo siday dadkii Gibecoon degganaa oo ku dhex jiray ula nabdeen reer binu Israa'iil,

¶ Now it came to pass when Adonizedek, king of Jerusalem, heard how Joshua had taken Ai and that he had utterly destroyed it (as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king) and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel and were among them;
