W alaalayaalow, dooni mayno inaad ka garaad la'aataan waxa ku saabsan dhibtayada ee xagga Aasiya nagaga dhacday, in hoos aad lanoogu celiyey si xooggayaga dhaafsiisan, sidaas aawadeed ayaannu xataa nolosha uga quusannay.

For we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about the affliction and oppressing distress which befell us in Asia, how we were so utterly and unbearably weighed down and crushed that we despaired even of life.
