C alooshaydiiyey, calooshaydiiyey! Aniga qalbigaa i xanuunaya, oo wadnahaa i fig leh. Iskamana aamusi karo, maxaa yeelay, naftaydiiyey, waxaad maqashay buunka dhawaaqiisii iyo qayladii dagaalka.

¶ My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart makes a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the shofar, the alarm of war.
