M arkaasaan idhi, Sayidow, Rabbiyow, sida xaqiiqada ah dadkan iyo Yeruusaalemba aad iyo aad baad u khiyaanaysay, waayo, iyagoo seefi naftooda soo gaadhaysa ayaad ku tidhaahdaa, Nabad baad helaysaan.

(Then I said, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; when the sword reaches unto the soul.)
