A nnagu waannu uuraysannay, oo xanuunkii foosha ayaa na qabtay, oo waxaannu noqonnay sidii wax dabayl dhalay, oo dhulkana samatabbixin kuma aannu samayn, oo dadka dunida degganuna ma ay dhalan.

We were pregnant, we writhed in labor, We gave birth, as it seems, only to wind. We could not accomplish deliverance for the earth, Nor were inhabitants of the world born.
