W aayo, markhaati buu reer Yacquub ka dhex dhisay, Oo sharci buu reer binu Israa'iil u dejiyey, Kaasoo uu ku amray awowayaasheen, Inay carruurtooda dambe ogeysiiyaan aawadeed,

For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;
