O o reer Ruubeen, iyo reer Gaad, iyo qabiilkii reer Manaseh badhkiis raggoodii xoogga lahaa oo awoodda u lahaa inay gaashaan iyo seef qaadaan, iyo inay qaansooyin ganaan, oo dagaalyahannada ahaa waxay ahaayeen afar iyo afartan kun iyo toddoba boqol iyo lixdan nin oo wada awooda inay dagaal u baxaan.

¶ The sons of Reuben and of Gad and half the tribe of Manasseh, valiant men, men able to bear buckler and sword and to shoot with bow and skillful in war were forty-four thousand seven hundred and sixty, that went out to the war.
