E ntonces dijo Abisai a David: —Hoy ha entregado Dios a tu enemigo en tus manos; ahora, pues, déjame que lo hiera con la lanza: lo clavaré en tierra de un golpe, y no le hará falta un segundo golpe.

Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time.
