D avid y Abisai fueron, pues, de noche adonde estaba el ejército. Saúl se hallaba tendido durmiendo en el campamento, con su lanza clavada en tierra a su cabecera; Abner y el ejército estaban tendidos alrededor de él.

So David and Abishai came to the people by night, and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench and his spear stuck in the ground at his head, but Abner and the people lay round about him.
