S e sentaron ellos dos juntos, comieron y bebieron. El padre de la joven pidió al hombre: —Te ruego que pases aquí la noche, y de seguro se alegrará tu corazón.

So both of them sat down and ate and drank together. The girl’s father said to the man, “I beg you, agree to stay the night. Let your heart be happy.”
