É stas fueron las ciudades señaladas para todos los hijos de Israel y para el extranjero que habitara entre ellos, para que se acogiese a ellas cualquiera que hiriera a alguno por accidente, a fin de que no muriese por mano del vengador de la sangre, hasta comparecer delante de la congregación.

These were the appointed cities for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person unwittingly might flee thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation.
