E llos dijeron: —Unos, Juan el Bautista; otros, Elías; y otros, Jeremías o alguno de los profetas.

فَأجابَ تَلامِيذُهُ: «بَعضُهُمْ يَقُولُ إنَّكَ يُوحَنّا المَعْمَدانُ، وَآخَرُونَ إنَّكَ إيلِيّا، وَآخَرُونَ إنَّكَ إرمِيا، أوْ نَبِيٌّ كَباقِي الأنبِياءِ.»
