E ntre tanto, cada uno decía a su compañero: «Venid y echemos suertes, para que sepamos quién es el culpable de que nos haya venido este mal.» Echaron, pues, suertes, y la suerte cayó sobre Jonás.

And they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah.
