T odos los siervos del rey que estaban a la puerta real se arrodillaban y se inclinaban ante Amán, porque así lo había mandado el rey; pero Mardoqueo ni se arrodillaba ni se humillaba.

All the king’s servants who were at the king’s gate bowed down and paid homage to Haman; for so the king had commanded concerning him. But Mordecai neither bowed down nor paid homage.
