P ero una vez que tenían paz, volvían a hacer lo malo delante de ti, por lo cual los abandonaste en manos de sus enemigos que los dominaron; pero volvían y clamaban otra vez a ti; tú desde los cielos los oías, y según tus misericordias muchas veces los libraste.

But when they had rest, they did evil again before thee; and thou didst leave them in the hand of their enemies, and they had dominion over them; and again they cried unto thee, and thou heardest from the heavens, and many times didst thou deliver them, according to thy mercies.
