C uando la copia de la carta del rey Artajerjes fue leída delante de Rehum, de Simsai, el secretario, y de sus compañeros, salieron apresuradamente hacia Jerusalén, donde estaban los judíos, y les hicieron cesar los trabajos utilizando la fuerza y la violencia.

Now when the copy of King Artaxerxes’ letter was read before Rehum, and Shimshai, the scribe, and their companions, they went up in haste to Jerusalem unto the Jews and made them to cease by force and power.
