A un a Maaca, su propia madre, el mismo rey Asa la depuso de su dignidad, porque había hecho una imagen de Asera; y Asa destruyó la imagen, la desmenuzó y la quemó junto al torrente Cedrón.

And also Maachah, mother of Asa the king -- he hath removed her from mistress, in that she hath made for a shrine a horrible thing, and Asa cutteth down her horrible thing, and beateth small, and burneth by the brook Kidron:
