L uego el escriba Safán se presentó ante el rey y le rindió cuentas diciendo: —Tus siervos han recogido el dinero que se halló en el Templo y se lo han entregado a los que hacen la obra, los que tienen a su cargo el arreglo de la casa de Jehová.

And Shaphan the scribe came to the king and reported to him: Your servants have gathered the money that was found in the house and have delivered it into the hands of the workmen who have oversight of the house of the Lord.
