D espués el rey de Asiria envió contra el rey Ezequías al jefe de los ejércitos, al jefe de los eunucos y al copero mayor, al frente de un gran ejército, y estos subieron de Laquis a Jerusalén para atacarla. Al llegar acamparon junto al acueducto del estanque de arriba, en el camino de la heredad del Lavador.
