E ntonces él se levantó y se fue a Sarepta. Cuando llegó a la puerta de la ciudad, había allí una mujer viuda que estaba recogiendo leña. Elías la llamó y le dijo: —Te ruego que me traigas un poco de agua en un vaso para que beba.

So he arose and went to Zarephath; and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
