D errotó también a los de Moab, y los midió con una cuerda, haciéndolos tenderse en tierra; los que quedaban a lo largo de dos cuerdas los condenó a morir, y a una cuerda llena la dejó con vida. Y fueron los moabitas siervos de David, pagando tributo.

He struck Moab, and measured them with the line, making them to lie down on the ground; and he measured two lines to put to death, and one full line to keep alive. The Moabites became servants to David, and brought tribute.
