A bner se enojó mucho por las palabras de Is-boset, y le dijo: —¿Acaso soy un perro al servicio de Judá? Hasta hoy he tenido misericordia con la casa de Saúl, tu padre, con sus hermanos y con sus amigos, y no te he entregado en manos de David; ¿y ahora tú me acusas de haber pecado con esta mujer?

Abner was very angry because of Ish-bosheth’s words, and said, “Am I a dog’s head that belongs to Judah? Today I show kindness to the family of your father Saul, to his brothers and to his friends. I have not given you into David’s hands. Yet today you say I am guilty because of this woman.
