E ntonces los tres valientes irrumpieron en el campamento de los filisteos, sacaron agua del pozo de Belén que estaba junto a la puerta, se la llevaron y la trajeron a David; pero él no la quiso beber, sino que la derramó como ofrenda para Jehová diciendo:

And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Beth-lehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the Lord.
