J ehová te ha dado el pago por toda la sangre de la casa de Saúl, en lugar del cual tú has reinado, y Jehová ha entregado el reino en manos de tu hijo Absalón; has sido sorprendido en tu maldad, porque eres un hombre sanguinario.»

Jehovah has returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and Jehovah has given the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son; and behold, thou art in thine own evil, for thou art a man of blood.
