y le pidió cartas para las sinagogas de Damasco, a fin de que si hallaba algunos hombres o mujeres de este Camino, los trajese presos a Jerusalén.

and asked of him letters to Damascus, to the synagogues, so that if he found any who were of the way, both men and women, he might bring bound to Jerusalem.
