Y si el Señor no hubiese acortado aquellos días, no se salvaría ninguna vida, pero en atención a los escogidos que él eligió, acortó los días.

and if Lord had not cut short those days, no flesh should have been saved; but on account of the elect whom he has chosen, he has cut short those days.
