E ntonces Daniel, cuyo nombre era Beltsasar, quedó atónito por unos momentos, y sus pensamientos lo turbaban. El rey tomó la palabra y dijo: Beltsasar, no te turben ni el sueño ni su interpretación. Beltsasar respondió y dijo: Señor mío, el sueño sea para tus enemigos, y su interpretación para tus adversarios.

The king responded and said, ‘Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its interpretation alarm you.’ Belteshazzar replied, ‘ My lord, if only the dream applied to those who hate you and its interpretation to your adversaries!
