A simismo todos los judíos que estaban en Moab, y entre los hijos de Amón, y en Edom, y los que estaban en todas las tierras, cuando oyeron decir que el rey de Babilonia había dejado a algunos en Judá, y que había puesto sobre ellos a Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Safán,

Likewise all the Jews that were in Moab, and among the children of Ammon and in Edom, and that were in all the lands, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant in Judah, and that he had appointed over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan;
