P orque mi pueblo me ha olvidado, incensando a lo que es vanidad, y ha sido inducido a tropezar en sus caminos, en las sendas antiguas, para que camine por sendas y no por camino transitado,

Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up;
