D e esta manera, pues, será expiada la iniquidad de Jacob, y éste será el medio eficaz para apartar su pecado; cuando haga todas las piedras del altar como piedras de cal desmenuzadas, de modo que ya no se levanten más los símbolos de Aserá ni las imágenes del sol.

By this, therefore, shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit of the taking away of his sin: when he shall make all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are crumbled in pieces,—the Asherahs and the sun-images shall not stand.
