p ero lo que hubo fue jolgorio y alegría, matando vacas y degollando ovejas, comiendo carne y bebiendo vino, diciendo: Comamos y bebamos, porque mañana moriremos.

and behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.
