P orque Amán, hijo de Hamedatá agagueo, enemigo de todos los judíos, había ideado contra los judíos un plan para destruirlos, y había echado el Pur, que quiere decir suerte, para consumirlos y acabar con ellos.

For Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the one who hated all the Jews, had planned to destroy the Jews. He had drawn names, using Pur, to trouble them and destroy them.
