Y tomó David de ellos mil setecientos hombres de a caballo, y veinte mil hombres de a pie; y desjarretó David los caballos de todos los carros, pero dejó suficientes para cien carros.

David took from him 1, 700 horsemen and 20, 000 foot soldiers; and David hamstrung all the chariot horses, except he reserved enough of them for 100 chariots.
