E ntonces envió Abner mensajeros a David de su parte, diciendo: ¿De quién es la tierra? Y que le dijesen: Haz pacto conmigo, y he aquí que mi mano estará contigo para traer a ti todo Israel.

Then Abner sent messengers on his behalf to David, saying, “Whose is the land?” saying also, “Make your covenant with me, and indeed my hand shall be with you to bring all Israel to you.”
