A simismo diréis a Amasá: ¿No eres tú también hueso mío y carne mía? Así me haga Dios, y aun me añada, si no te nombro general del ejército delante de mí para siempre, en lugar de Joab.

Say to Amasa, ‘Are you not my bone and my flesh? May God do so to me, and more also, if you will not be commander of the army before me continually in place of Joab.’”
