P orque esto vino de Jehová, que endurecía el corazón de ellos para que resistiesen con guerra a Israel, para destruirlos, y que no les fuese hecha misericordia, sino que fuesen desarraigados, como Jehová lo había mandado a Moisés.

For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly and that they might have no mercy, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
