E n aquel mismo día tomó Josué a Maceda, y la hirió a filo de espada, y mató a su rey; por completo los destruyó, con todo lo que en ella tenía vida, sin dejar nada; e hizo al rey de Maceda como había hecho al rey de Jericó.

And that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of Jericho.
