L a vid está seca, y pereció la higuera; el granado también, la palmera y el manzano; todos los árboles del campo se secaron, por lo cual se extinguió el gozo de los hijos de los hombres.

The vine dries up and the fig tree wastes away. The pomegranate, the palm, the apple tree, and all the trees of the field dry up. And the people’s joy dries up.
