E ntonces David respondió a Mical: Fue delante de Jehová, quien me eligió en preferencia a tu padre y a toda tu casa, para constituirme por príncipe sobre el pueblo de Jehová, sobre Israel. Por tanto, danzaré delante de Jehová.

David said to Michal, It was before the Lord, Who chose me above your father and all his house to appoint me as prince over Israel, the people of the Lord. Therefore will I make merry before the Lord.
