E ntonces Samuel habló con todos los israelitas y les dijo: «Si de todo corazón se han arrepentido delante del Señor, quiten a Astarot y a todos los dioses ajenos que todavía adoran; entréguense de corazón al Señor, y sírvanle sólo a él; entonces el Señor los librará de la ira de los filisteos.»

¶ And Samuel spoke unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you and prepare your hearts unto the LORD and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
