S aúl le preguntó: «¿Qué aspecto tienen?» Y ella le dijo: «Veo un anciano. Viene cubierto con un manto.» Al darse cuenta Saúl de que quien venía era Samuel, hizo una gran reverencia y se inclinó de cara al suelo.

He said to her, “What is his form?” And she said, “An old man is coming up, and he is wrapped with a robe.” And Saul knew that it was Samuel, and he bowed with his face to the ground and did homage.
