E ntonces Saúl le dijo: «David, hijo mío: reconozco que he pecado. Regresa conmigo. Nunca más te haré daño, puesto que has tenido mi vida en alta estima. Por el contrario, yo he actuado como un necio; ¡he cometido un gran error!»

Then Saul said, “I have sinned. Return, my son David, for I will not hurt you again. Because my life was of great worth in your eyes this day. See, I have played the fool, and have made a big mistake.”
