E ntonces David salió de allí y se fue a Mispá de Moab, y le dijo al rey de ese lugar: «Te ruego que recibas a mi padre y mi madre, y los protejas hasta que yo sepa lo que Dios va a hacer conmigo.»

And David went thence to Mizpeh in Moab, and said to the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth amongst you, till I know what God will do for me.
