C uando Saúl oyó esto, se enojó mucho, pues le desagradó escuchar que a David le reconocieran haber matado diez veces más soldados que a él, así que dijo: «Ahora sólo falta que David se quede con mi reino».

Then Saul was very angry, and the saying displeased him; and he said, “They have ascribed to David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed only thousands. Now what more can he have but the kingdom?”
