« Estoy muy disgustado por haber hecho rey de Israel a Saúl, pues se ha apartado de mí y no ha cumplido con lo que le ordené hacer.» Cuando Samuel oyó esto, se llenó de pesar, y toda esa noche le estuvo rogando al Señor por Saúl.

`I have repented that I caused Saul to reign for king, for he hath turned back from after Me, and My words he hath not performed;' and it is displeasing to Samuel, and he crieth unto Jehovah all the night.
