P ero también los filisteos se reunieron para pelear contra Israel. Contaban con treinta mil carros de guerra, seis mil soldados de caballería, y un ejército incontable como la arena del mar. Subieron y acamparon en Micmas, al oriente de Bet Avén.

Now the Philistines assembled to fight with Israel, 30, 000 chariots and 6, 000 horsemen, and people like the sand which is on the seashore in abundance; and they came up and camped in Michmash, east of Beth-aven.
