T omó entonces un par de bueyes, los descuartizó y envió los pedazos por todo el territorio de Israel, con la orden de que los mensajeros dijeran: «Así haremos con los bueyes de los que no sigan a Saúl y a Samuel.» Fue tal el temor que el Señor infundió en el pueblo, que se unieron como un solo hombre.

He took two bulls and cut them in pieces and sent them through the land of Israel with the men who had brought the news, saying, “This will be done to the bulls of those who will not come out after Saul and Samuel.” The fear of the Lord came upon the people, and they all came out together.
